August Artist In ResidenceEvents

Jae Daisy is an artist, designer & teacher. She has a B.F.A in Fibers & Master’s degree in Painting from the Savannah College of Art & Design. Her works include portraiture, textile artworks and art direction.

Her works on canvas derive from her imagination woven with the inspiration of music. Her use of color reflects how she sees the world around her and her love of people.

The pieces exhibited in Little James are paintings inspired by the journey of going within yourself to find out you are the light you needed all along. The use of color, transparency and portraiture are all symbolic of the artist’s journey of finding and remembering, herself.
