Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy is Marriott’s name for a category that didn’t have one until now: a full apartment, run with the reliability of a Marriott address. It isn’t about choosing between an apartment and a hotel. It’s about getting the best of both. Before you sign a lease in a new city, you want to know what it’s actually like to live there: where to get coffee, how the light hits the courtyard around six, whether the kitchen gets used enough to justify the groceries. That’s the stay The Ann Savannah was built around, not a weekend getaway but a real test of a place, with a full kitchen, a front door of your own, and the Savannah Historic District two blocks from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). It’s the first Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy address on the US mainland, built for people who’d rather move in than check in.

WHY THE ANN

A Neighborhood, Not Just an Address

Every Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy property reflects the neighborhood it’s part of. At The Ann, that neighborhood is the Savannah Historic District, the grid General James Oglethorpe laid out in 1733, still walkable square by square. Step outside and SCAD, Forsyth Park, Broughton Street, and the kind of cafés, galleries, and boutiques that don’t have a second location are all within reach on foot. Rather than experiencing Savannah as a visitor passing through, you have the chance to settle into the rhythm of everyday life.

WHO IT'S FOR

For the Ones Who Need to Live in a Place Before They Choose It

Some travelers aren’t chasing a weekend away. They’re the consultant three months into scouting a relocation, running errands on Broughton Street to see if the neighborhood fits. The family with a kid starting a SCAD semester, testing out a stretch of city before signing a lease. The film crew turning a two-week shoot into two months, unloading gear into a real kitchen instead of a mini-fridge. None of them want a hotel room for that long, and none of them trust a rental listing to still answer the phone on day forty. Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy exists for that stay: a full apartment with the reliability of a Marriott address, designed neighborhood by neighborhood rather than off one shared floor plan.

Inside, Studio, One-, Two-, Three-, and Four-Bedroom Loft Suites offer apartment-style living designed for every kind of extended stay, from solo travelers and relocating professionals to families and production crews. Because the way you travel should determine the space you stay in.

A Stay That Connects You to Savannah

The best extended stays aren’t measured by how many attractions you visit. They’re measured by how quickly a city begins to feel familiar.

Coffee at Little James before heading out for the day. A walk through the Historic District after work. Picking up ingredients for dinner instead of making another reservation. Finding yourself returning to the same neighborhood café because it already feels like part of your routine.

That’s the difference apartment-style travel can make. Instead of simply visiting Savannah, you begin living here.

APARTMENT LIVING, MARRIOTT CONFIDENCE

Apartment Living. Marriott Confidence.

The best parts of apartment living are easy to understand. A real kitchen. A living room where you can spread out. In-suite laundry. Space that feels comfortable on day one and even better by day ten.

When you’re here for more than a few nights, those details stop feeling like amenities. They simply become part of daily life.

The challenge has always been everything that comes with booking an apartment. Every stay is different. Every host operates a little differently. What you see online isn’t always what you experience when you arrive.

Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy brings together the comforts of apartment-style living with the reliability of Marriott. You book through Marriott, earn Marriott Bonvoy points and Elite Night Credits, and enjoy the consistency, service, and support you’d expect from one of the world’s most recognized hospitality brands.

THE ANN SAVANNAH

A Flagship, Not a Prototype

The Ann Savannah has Studio, 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom, 3 Bedroom, and 4 Bedroom Loft Suites, each with a full kitchen (down to an Our Place pan in the cabinet) and in-suite laundry. Look up in any of them and the ceiling tells the rest of the story: exposed cross-laminated timber, the Southeast’s first application of the material at this scale, with the grain left visible instead of covered over. The building’s own facade carries the same idea outward: two dark brick wings flank a glass atrium corridor that glows amber at dusk, visible from the street before a guest ever reaches the door. The building sits two blocks from SCAD and a few minutes’ walk from the squares that lead to Forsyth Park and Broughton Street. Extended-stay guests fit differently by size: a consultant scouting a relocation books the Studio or one-bed; a family settling in for a SCAD semester takes the two-bed; a production crew on a month-long shoot spreads across the three- or four-bed loft suite. The kitchen and the laundry don’t shrink just because the stay gets bigger.

Frequently Asked Questions

Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy is a sub-brand within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio designed around the needs of a longer stay, whether that’s a weekend or a month. Each property pairs a full apartment (separate bedroom, full kitchen, in-suite laundry) with the daily housekeeping, front-desk staff, and Marriott Bonvoy points and elite recognition of a Marriott hotel.

A short-term rental can offer a kitchen and a bedroom, but the rest is inconsistent from listing to listing: no staff on site, no guaranteed housekeeping, no loyalty program. Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy keeps the apartment layout and adds what Marriott already does well: daily service, a staffed front desk, and Bonvoy points on every stay. See Vacation Rentals for how The Ann compares to a typical Savannah rental listing.

It scales with who’s staying. A consultant scouting a relocation or a student settling in for a SCAD semester tends to book the Studio or 1 Bedroom Suite; a family relocating together or a production crew on a longer shoot spreads out across the 2, 3, or 4 Bedroom Loft Suite. Every size carries the same full kitchen and in-suite laundry.
